How to tell a genuine Louis Vuitton from a fake ２

In this second installment, we would like to introduce two new points:
- About rivets.
- About hooks.
■ Points to Determine the Authenticity of Rivets:
- Is there a three-dimensional effect on the rivets?
- Is the engraving cleanly done?
- How does the entire rivet shine?
- Are the rivets overlapping with the stitching or other parts?
Compared to the genuine ones, these fake items lack three-dimensionality and appear flattened. The “LOUIS VUITTON” font is also flattened, and the rivets are overlapping in the stitching. Although it might not be very clear in the images, they shine much brighter compared to the authentic ones. Unlike the cheap plating color, Louis Vuitton hardware has a unique color.
In this way, fake items often have characteristics such as a flattened logo and an unnatural way of shining, which differentiate them from genuine products.
In this article, we’ve discussed how to distinguish between genuine and fake Louis Vuitton items, focusing on rivets.
